Turkey meeting of the project “Innovative and Applicative Methods in Work Based Learning” took place in Ankara on 28-29 August 2019. On the first day of the meeting, we discussed with our Finnish, Romanian and Italian partners about the country's development plans and learning activity that will be held in Italy.

The second day of the project, "MAN Turkey - Bus & Truck Manufacturing Plant Skill Training Center"  was visited to observe on site the cooperation and training activities conducted between Dikmen MTAL and with it's industry bodies. Here, our partners received information about the cooperation between the skills training center and our school from managers and unit managers. They also chatted with our master instructors, students and alumni.

Then we visited Doğuş Oto and Technical Service. During the visit, Doğuş Oto managers Ali Kesiciler and Gökçe Çiçek Serttaş informed our project team on issues such as cooperation with Dikmen MTAL, training activities and employment of graduates.

The theme of the international workshop of the project was “Paradigms that changed from the Industrial Age to the Information Age”. The workshop was held at the CoZone • Information and Innovation Center of Middle East Technical University. Representatives and directors of the Ministry of National Education as well as stakeholder organization managers from the industrial sector and academicians from the Middle East Technical University supported the workshop. In the first part of the workshop, METU faculty member and workshop moderator Prof.Dr. Ömer Delialioğlu made a presentation about the educational training at Turkey and world. Later than MAN Turkey AŞ Public Relations Manager Övgühan İnce made a presentation about  School-Industry Association. Bureaucrats, industrialists, administrative academicians, teachers and artists from various countries and institutions participated in the workshop.
